Welcome! Meet our Executive Board of 2017-2018
My name is Amy Hu, the Founder & President of REA. I am currently a fourth-year student, triple majoring in Business Administration, Business Economics, and Sociology. I started REA to bring together students at UCI who wanted to explore their potentials and opportunities in real estate! Being a part of REA has been an honor and a wonderful opportunity to develop many leadership skills. I am also the Founder & President of Women in Leadership, the ASUCI Student Programming Funding Board Commissioner, and a Peer Academic Advisor for the Paul Merage School of Business. I love singing, cooking, baking, country music, and spending time with family & friends! I’m passionate about helping the community and after graduation, I’d like to travel the world, gain some real life experiences, enjoy life, and give back. My advice to REA members: Never give up! Explore all the opportunities that UCI has to offer and don't be afraid of failing. Fun fact about myself: I can speak 5 languages and I love listening to country music!
External Vice President:
My name is Christina Mkrtchyan, the External Vice President of REA. I am currently a second-year student, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organization & Management. I joined the Real Estate Association with intentions of meeting like-minded professional students excited to take advantage of the diversity and unlimited opportunity in the field of real estate. My hobbies outside of school include traveling, running, and watching classic movies. Other than REA, I am also a member of Pre-Law Society, former Representative for the Merage Undergraduate Student Association, volunteer at the Armenian Youth Federation, and Financial Analyst at a real estate firm and Legal Assistant/Clerk at a law firm in Newport Beach. I advise any REA member to find a passion, set goals, and dedicate extra efforts to be successful. Once success is accomplished, I encourage all members to focus on inspiring and guiding others to accomplish successful and moral lives. I plan to take a year off to travel, volunteer with nonprofits, and work until attending a joint MBA/JD program. Fun fact about myself: Kobe Bryant is my idol.
Internal Vice President:
My name is Vivian Tang, the Internal Vice President of REA. I am currently a third-year student, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance & Accounting. I joined REA to learn more about real estate. I like doing handlettering outside of school. As of now I don't have any involvement other than REA, but I'm planning to become a member of UBA and UFA along with a community service club next quarter! My advice to REA members: Try your best to get involved, especially in anything you're interested in. Discovery is an important part of college! After I graduate, I hope to get a job in the banking industry and eventually go to graduate school after a while. Fun fact about myself: My favorite color is green.
Director of External Affairs:
My name is Jessica Lee, the Director of External Affairs. I am currently a second-year student, majoring in Business Administration. I joined REA to not only gain a better understanding of the real estate industry but meet more professionals and undergraduates. I really enjoy hiking and trying new foods outside of school! Other than REA, I am currently involved in the UCI powerlifting club and working as an administrative intern. My advice to REA members: Don't be afraid to try new things! After graduate, I plan to work full time for a few years and then go back to get my masters, while hopefully squeezing in time to travel! Fun fact about myself: I really like cheese!
Director of Administrative Affairs:
My name is Melissa Garza Cruz, the Director of Administrative Affairs of REA. I am currently a third-year student, majoring in Political Science and minoring in management. I joined REA because I am interested in real estate and interested to learn more about it.My hobby outside school is watching Youtube videos. I plan to take a year off and work after graduating from UCI. My advice to REA members: always have questions. Fun fact about myself: I love going to the beach.
Director of Internal Affairs:
My name is Leona Wang, the Director of Internal Affairs. I am currently a fourth-year student, majoring in Business Economics and minoring in Management. I developed my interest in real estate because my dad works in this industry and this is why I joined REA. My hobbies outside of school is golfing and trying all kinds of Asian food. My advice to REA members: Come to our events as much as possible and start planning your career early! My plans after graduating from UCI are to find a job in real estate development or investment industry, travel the world, and give back to the community. Fun fact about myself: I've lived in U.S. for almost 7 years and I still don't like pizza.

Directors of Marketing:
My name is Hannah Park, one of the Directors of Marketing of REA. I am a third-year student, majoring in Business Administration. I joined REA because Real-Estate is awesome and fun. Whether you're in the real estate investing or in real estate career, the money can be phenomenal. My hobbies outside of school is exploring with my dogs, swimming, and photography. I currently intern at Keller Williams Newport. My plan after graduate is to work in a field of consulting, accounting or real estate. My advice to REA members: Work at your own pace. I know things can be over-whelming in a UC campus with so many awesome and driven people. My advice is to not compare yourself with anyone but work hard, at your own pace. Fun fact about myself: I grew 2 inches in college.
My name is Zac Tran, one of the Directors of Marketing of REA. I am currently a second-year student, majoring in Business Administration. I joined REA because I want to make friends and learn about real estate. I like watching movies, hanging out with friends, drinking boba, eating, singing, and traveling outside of school. Other than REA, I am also involved with Marketing Association. I currently intern at Btouch Marketing Solutions and UNICEF. My advice to REA members: just go out, explore, and have fun. My plan after undergrad at UCI is to travel around the world and visit my family in Vietnam. Fun fact about myself: I am allergic to seafood.
